Using water or steam injection is
a cost-effective means of reducing gas turbine emissions
and increasing power output. For peaking gas turbines,
steam is generally not available, and water injection
is the ideal method. We provide complete water and
steam injection systems and turnkey installation with
packages available for most models of gas turbines.
We have an extensive turbine expertise and use this knowledge
to provide injection systems
that are
ready to install
and complete, from control system modifications
to fuel nozzles and combustion hardware.
Whether trying to
meet new emissions requirements or to increase power
output on an existing turbine,
our turbine control
systems can provide the answer for relatively
little capital investment
Proven Designs
We have a proven track record with
installed packaged systems for many types of gas
turbines including General
Electric MS and LM series, Westinghouse and Pratt & Whitney
turbines.
Our turbine control systems are designed to provide
a safe and controlled flow of water within turbine
operating limits. Complete turnkey water injections
solutions for both single and dual fuel gas turbines
are available.
Emissions reduction depends
on turbine type and many other factors – please
contact us for more information on water flow
and emissions data for specific unit
types.
NOXDOWN System
Our NOXDOWN system for GE MS series
turbines is a simple and robust system that
eliminates the need for any new combustion hardware. Contact
us for more details on how this can save
on project cost.
System Components
The design varies based
on machine and customer need but the basic components
can include some or all
of the following:
- Water Injection Pump
Skid
- Water Injection Control Skid
- Instrumentation
- Water Injection Manifold
- Water Injection Rings
The systems are assembled from
standard industrial components for fast delivery
and low cost
maintenance. Components are intelligently
packaged to minimize size without sacrificing maintainability.
In most
cases,
systems can be installed in existing
heated space minimizing the amount of heat
tracing
and new civil
works.
